What methodology will be used to project hourly wind and solar generation? Discrete modeling based on many years of solar insolation and wind speed data, reliability models, or something else?
The Company utilizes an “8760” profile for solar, developed by a third party. The hourly offshore wind generation is based on National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) data, while onshore wind is based on a generic ridgetop wind profile assuming an 80-95 meter hub height.
