How are projected transmission costs for future units that may not have gone through the RTEP treated in the IRP?

Transmission needs associated with future resources that have not yet been fully identified through regional planning processes are addressed through the inclusion of interconnection costs in the resource modeling, rather than as separately identified transmission projects in the portfolio NPV.

Further detail on how transmission costs were treated in the 2025 IRP Update are available in Appendices 2C and 2E.

An updated version of these Appendices will be included in the 2026 IRP filing.
