The projected costs used in the IRP are based on detailed proposals and cost data provided directly by SMR vendors, including capital, fuel, operations and maintenance, security, and interconnection costs. These estimates are thoroughly reviewed over multiple years by the Company’s construction, nuclear, and operations teams and the Company considers them as more accurate and current than many industry-wide reports, which can quickly become outdated.
