How will long duration battery storage be considered in this IRP? Is there going to be consideration of VPPs?

Long-duration energy storage up to 10-hour duration will be offered in the model for selection in the IRP build plans. Challenges and additional considerations relevant to LDES was discussed during IRP Conference 2.

As stated in the Q&A from Modeling Meeting 1 on April 29, 2026, the Company is working on a program to pilot Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) and may use pilot program data to determine its inclusion in future IRP modeling.
