How does the current IRP account for physical limitations in available infrastructure?

The IRP model includes realistic build limits for new generation to meet demand, which is not location-specific.  The build limits are based on Dominion Energy’s extensive experience developing infrastructure projects within its service territory.  The IRP model also takes into account the current transmission import capabilities of the Dominion Zone and future transmission projects.

• Are stakeholders going to see results of the transmission study ahead of IRP filing? Are we going to see an increase in import capability?
• How are transmission constraints reflected to optimize the generation resources? If there aren’t any transmission constraints modeled, is the location of new generation and new load immaterial as it wouldn’t impact the marginal unit being dispatched?
