What is Dominion Energy’s plan to handle on-site generation?
Metered load is a key input into PJM’s and Dominion Energy Virginia’s load forecasts. Any load shaving impacts of behind-the-meter site generation will be incorporated by way of reduced metered demand. Any on-site generation that is not behind-the-meter will be modeled on the supply side in the IRP modeling if the resource is owned by or contracted to Dominion Energy Virginia.
