Demand side management functions as a “load reducer” and is incorporated in the load forecast, thereby reducing the customer demand the IRP model must build resources to meet.

Are inputs to the commodity forecast and algorithm transparent, including underlying data inputs and not just high level assumptions?
PJM and FERC are both considering policies to require the major new load from data centers to be “bring your own generation,” that the data centers provide themselves off grid. There may be a significant shift of new load off grid provided on site by other sources. How can you predict this in the IRP?
