What are the renewable energy credit impacts of charging batteries from solar?

In a solar-plus-storage hybrid system, the battery is charged directly by the solar facility, but all battery technologies lose some energy due to round-trip efficiency losses. As a result, less energy reaches the point of interconnection, which reduces the number of renewable energy certificates generated and credited to the project.
