How does Dominion Energy treat environmental regulations that have been repealed but remain subject to ongoing legal challenges?
When developing IRP planning assumptions, Dominion Energy generally evaluates regulations based on their current legal status. If a regulation has been repealed, the Company would generally treat it as no longer in effect, even if legal challenges remain pending. However, depending on the circumstances and the level of uncertainty involved, the Company may evaluate alternative scenarios to assess the potential impact of different regulatory outcomes.
