Does the IRP modeling consider the Social Cost of Carbon?

The Social Cost of Carbon is generally evaluated in resource-specific regulatory proceedings, such as Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) applications, rather than as a standard input to the IRP. Recent Virginia legislation requires consideration of the Social Cost of Carbon in future IRP filings, and the Company will address those requirements as they become effective.
