Who are the third-party facilitators?

Mark Rubin and Cynthia Hudson of the McCammon Group will be facilitating the IRP stakeholder process.

Mark Rubin’s extensive experience spans working with former Governor Tim Kaine, contributing to the academic community at Virginia Commonwealth University and leading the Virginia Center for Consensus Building. Perhaps most notably, Mark facilitated the “Rubin Group,” a diverse assembly of stakeholders who successfully navigated complex energy policy discussions during the intervening period between the 2016 and 2017 Virginia General Assembly sessions. His deep understanding of the utility space makes him an invaluable asset to this process.

Cynthia Hudson has been a trailblazer in legal practice and litigation in local and state government for two decades. As the first African American woman to serve as Virginia’s chief deputy attorney general, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise. Her recent transition to the McCammon Group only amplifies her commitment to collaborative problem-solving, earning her high praise from peers.
